The Graduation I

After having a long vacation, here's the day confirming that our academic mission accomplished. Without any impression whether I was were passed or not, passing through the final defense seemed to be a confirmation that all of us were graduated.

As usual, all announcement for graduate students can be seen at the 6th floor of Yoyokan Building. The graduation ceremony was held at the 5th Floor of Suzaku Hall, Suzaku Campus. In my view, the graduation at Ritsumeikan University was so simple and tend to be plain. There was no special invitation, probably you may take along all of your family. It was for graduate and undergraduate students. The ceremony was divided into two sessions: Kinugasa was in the morning, and BKC was in the afternoon.

Lucky me, pointed as valedictorian, so I got rehearsal and had a right to wear the academic gown. Honestly, I have thought about this, then surprisingly, it came true. FYI, there is no dress-code for all graduates and guests, just dress up whatever you want. Having intention to fully feel graduation of abroad university, I preferred to wear a 'modern' dress rather than a traditional one.

After graduation ceremony, we went to selected classroom for each faculty. Here, the deans of graduate and undergraduate addressed and handed the certificate. That's it, and we can take random pictures. Also, family and friends were allowed to enter.
